β (carga 0 e número at. -1)
90 Th 232 –> 86 Rn 220 + xα + yβ
Olhando-se apenas a carga tem-se que
232 –> 220 + 4.x + 0.y
232 = 220 + 4x
232 – 220 = 4x
4x = 12
x = 3
Para saber-se quantidade BEta, temos nas cargas/massas:
90 –> 86 + 2.3 + y.(-1)
90 = 86 + 6 – y
90 -86 – 6 = -y
-2 = -y
y = 2
3 partículas alfa e 2 beta
